Barbara Schlosberg Goldberg, 90, of Holyoke, died Sept. 2. She was the widow of Herbert A. Goldberg. Born in Boston and raised in Brookline, she was the daughter of Mollie and Louis Schlosberg. She graduated from Northeastern University. She was active in many organizations including Congregation Sons of Zion of Holyoke, Rodphey Sholom of Holyoke, Women’s League of Conservative Judaism, and Hadassah. She won awards from the Eastern States Exposition and the Jewish Pomegranate Guild for her handiwork. She is survived by a sister, Hope Shir; three daughters, Louise Citron, Debra Goldberg, and Janet Greenfield; two sons-in-law, Seth Waxman and Richard Greenfield; nine grandchildren and their spouses; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial contributions may be made to The Jewish Theological Seminary, The American Parkinson Disease Association or Holyoke Hospital.
