SPRINGFIELD — Mentalist Marc Salem will make his Pioneer Valley debut at an exclusive performance just for guests of The Jewish Federation’s upcoming Donor Extravaganza at the MGM Springfield on Monday, Oct. 29 starting at 6 p.m.
Salem has astounded and entertained millions with jaw dropping performances, including two extended runs on Broadway, two network television specials, a profile on 60 Minutes with Mike Wallace, and more. He is considered one of the most accomplished mentalists of our time.
Some might call it schtick, but what he does is all science. Born Moshe Botwinick, Salem is a rabbi’s son who has traveled the globe exploring the mind and its potential. He has advanced degrees in education and developmental psychology and is considered one of the world’s foremost authorities on non-verbal communication.
“We wanted to think of an extra special way to thank our generous donors for their support and are thrilled to offer them this rare opportunity to see a world class entertainer perform live at our upcoming Donor Extravaganza,” says Federation CEO Stewart Bromberg. “From beginning to end, this event is sure to be an evening everyone will be talking about for years to come!”
The 2018 Donor Extravaganza is open to anyone who has contributed $1,000 or more to the Federation’s Annual Campaign. In addition to Marc Salem’s performance, the event includes wine and hors d’oeuvres and a sit-down dinner at the MGM Springfield. Dietary laws observed. Business attire suggested. Space is limited and is expected to fill up. Tickets are $54/person and RSVP’s are required. For more information or to RSVP, call (413) 737-4313 or go to jewishwesternmass.org/RSVP
