Yefim Fater, 94, of Centerville, formerly of Worcester, died Oct. 27. He was the widower of Genya (Taub) Fater. Born in Odessa, Russia, he was the son of the late Marcus and Sprintza Fater. He worked as toolmaker for Norton Company for many years. He served for the Soviet Army during World War II. He is survived by two sons, Alexander Fater and his wife, Natalya, and Gregory Fater and his wife, Larisa; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
