Richard Lewis Sirkin, 94, of Bridgeport, Conn., died Oct. 20. He was a longtime resident of Longmeadow and then Dartmoor in Enfield, Conn. Born in New Britain, Conn., he was the son of Henry and Etta Pierson Sirkin. His attendance at New York University was interrupted by World War II Navy service, where he survived the war and several cyclones on the Pacific seas. After graduation at NYU, he attended Washington University in Saint Louis, Mo. He was a businessman and his last enterprise was Feinstein Leather. He is survived by Sue Heller, his long-time partner; a son, D. Andrew Sirkin; a daughter, Jamie Sirkin Rowe Quinn; a step son, James Null and his wife Mara Null; and grandchildren, Collin, Alexa, Austin, Maxwell, Jacob and Eliana; a brother, Robert Sirkin; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Stanton.
