Andrew I. Rome, 65, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Leominster, died April 29. He was the husband of Patricia (Cruz) Rome. Born in Fitchburg, he was the son of Howard and Harriette (Wilson) Rome. He had graduated Leominster High School and had attended the University of Miami. He had lived in Leominster for most of his life before moving to Naples. He served as a police officer in Shirley. He was a Leominster Auxiliary Police Officer for many years. He was a co-owner of Columbia Tavern in Leominster and had been the former owner of Classics Pub. He was a member of Congregation Agudat Achim and the Elks Lodge. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Michael Anthony Moisan; two sisters, Pamela Rome and Marsha Rome Basloe; a brother, Jeffrey Rome and his wife, Ana Rome; two nephews, Jonathan Kehoe and Benjamin Basloe; two nieces, Sarah Kehoe and Laurie Basloe; and cousins, Allen and Peter Rome.
