Estelle Baustin, 90, of Easthampton, died Aug. 13 at Care One in Northampton. She was the widow of Max Baustin. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Jean Waldman. She was raised and graduated from High School in the Bronx, and later moved to Brooklyn. She devoted her energies to raising her family, and then went back to work as a teacher’s aide in a school for mentally disabled children for the next 30 years. She moved to Massachusetts in 2003. She is survived by a sister, Sibby Ochs of Bronx, N.Y.; three children and their spouses, Gail  Kamerman  (Martin) of Mohegan Lake, N.Y., Steven Baustin (Cori DiFrancis ) of Atlanta Ga., and Allan Baustin (Barbara Thompson) of Northampton; eight grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Shirley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Congregation B’nai Israel Valley Jewish Seniors program, or the charity of the donor’s choice. ASCHER-ZIMMERMAN FUNERAL HOME
