Bennett Romm, 91, died Aug. 21 at the Jewish Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife, Leanore (Segal) Romm. Born in New York City, he was raised in the Bronx. He was a graduate of the City College of New York with a bachelors degree in civil engineering. He spent his career working for the New York Transit Authority. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Reuben; a son, Joshua Romm and his wife, Michelle; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Rachel Reuben and Gabriella and Talia Romm; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kalichman and Phillis Freedin.
