Dr. Richard M. Ginsburg, MD, 68, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Niskayuna, N.Y., died Oct. 24. He was the husband of Nancy Ginsburg. Born in Boston, he was the son of Dr. Abraham Ginsburg and Goldie (Brass) Ginsburg. He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He spent the next 37 years practicing internal medicine and endocrinology in Albany, N.Y. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Lisa Tazartes and her husband, David, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Daniel Ginsburg and his wife, Sofia, of Southborough, and Rebecca Hendrickson and her husband, TJ, of Norwalk, Conn.; a brother, Dr. Howard Ginsburg; a sister, Rabbi Eleanor Pearlman; and six grandchildren, Jacob and Neal Tazartes, Ethan and Evan Ginsburg, and Cooper and Molly Hendrickson. Memorial contribution may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
