
WORCESTER – The Worcester Black-Jewish and Jewish
Federation of Central Mass, will present “Songs of Hope II,” on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 4-6 p.m. at Worcester Area Mission Society, 6 Institute Road.
The concert celebrates the historic partnership between the African American and Jewish communities on behalf of Civil Rights, freedom and dignity for all people.
Performers include Lydia Fortune, Mitch Gordon, Charles Ketter, Knights of Zion, Steve Schuster, Shir Joy, and Cantor Rachel Reef-Simpson .
The event is sponsored by the Worcester Black-Jewish Alliance, a partnership of the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts and the Worcester Chapter of the NAACP.
