Marion Pava of Longmeadow died Dec. 4 at her home. She was the widow of David Pava. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of Lillian Nozik. She graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield. She worked for Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. and had a long career at Monarch Life Insurance Company. She was active in numerous community and charitable organizations. She sang in several Jewish music groups including Mak’hela, the Jewish Chorus of Western Mass., and was involved in the Chesed Committee at Congregation Kodimoh and later at Congregation B’nai Torah. She is survived by two sons, Joel Pava and his wife, Judi, and Jonathan Pava; three grandchildren, Zachary Pava and his wife, Tarah, and Andrew and Maxwell Pava; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Emily Pava.
