Salena Blake, 100, of Springfield, died April 25. Born in Springfield she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Ann (Karlin) Bilsky. She was the widow of Ernest Blake. A graduate of Bay Path College, she was employed at Baystate Medical Center for 27 years in the Human Resource Department until her retirement. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels at the Springfield Jewish Community Center, at the Jewish Nursing Home and at the Longmeadow Senior Center. She is survived by a daughter, Dorine Toyen and her husband, Marty, of Avon, Conn.; a son, Gary and his wife, Barbara, of California; grandchildren, Heather, Jamie and his wife, Kelly, Joshua, and Melinda and her husband, Jordan Glastein; two great grandchildren, Ramsey and Violet; a sister-in-law Betty Bilsky; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased a granddaughter, Amy Toyen; a sister, Florence Mazer; and a brother, Erwin Bilsky.
