LONGMEADOW – Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy (LYA) is celebrating its 75th anniversary, with a virtual event, “LYA 75 and Strong” on Monday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. The event will celebrate 75 years of excellence in education, community involvement and leadership.

LYA will honor four alumni, Attorney David Bograd, Spencer Kimball, Hanna Perlstein Marcus, and Dr. Benjamin Mathis, and the alumni will speak about their bond with LYA. LYA will publish a commemorative ad journal for the event to support LYA; the ad book will be viewable in a virtual format in time for the event and in print form.

“As we prepare for this unique event to celebrate our 75th year, our goal is to truly show proper recognition to our alumni from the past while prepare for the school’s future during these changing times,” said Rabbi Noach Kosofsky, LYA director. “The proceeds of this ad journal will benefit the LYA Scholarship Fund. COVID-19 may have changed our method of delivery, yet our mission to educate our children and interact with our community remains the same and that is why your help is needed now more than ever.”

For more information or to place an ad please visit www.LYA.org, email at info@lya.org or call (413) 567-8665.
