Myra Retchin Perkins Pevzner, 73, of Longmeadow, died July 23. She was the wife of Steven Pevzner. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Naomi (Pomerantz) Retchin. She was a graduate of Classical High School, UMass and received a master’s degree from Western New England College. She was employed as a vice president at Frost Bank in Nevada, a legal assistant for Bacon & Wilson and retired from United Bank in Springfield. She attending services at Congregation B’nai Torah in Longmeadow and playing cards at the Senior Center with her many friends. She is survived by a daughter, Sheen Perkins; a grandson, Quinten; two sisters Pam Perkins and Sita Sun; a niece and nephew, Shanti and Toli; and her former husband, Guy Perkins. She was predeceased by a brother, Bruce; her son, Mark Perkins; and her former parents-in-law, Guy and Aileen Perkins.
