Virtual Lunch and Learn Series at Ruth’s House will focus on Spirituality and Aging

LONGMEADOW – The monthly Lunch and Learn program at Ruth’s House Assisted Living Residence at JGS Lifecare has gone virtual.

The topic of the Sept. 23 Zoom program will be Spirituality and Aging: Finding Meaning and Purpose as We Age, with Rabbi Devorah Jacobson, chaplain and director of Spiritual Life at JGS Lifecare.

All participants will be entered into a raffle for a gift certificate. A virtual tour of our independent and memory care neighborhoods will be offered.

Living longer brings its own challenges for each of us, including the ongoing issue of finding meaning and purpose. What are some spiritual visions that can help us navigate elderhood?

Rabbi Jacobson will talk about finding meaning and purpose as we age, as well as explore how our spirituality practice has been impacted by the COVID-19 virus.

A welcome and update will be start 12 noon; the presentation will take place from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m., followed by a Q&A, raffle and virtual tour.

To participate, RSVP to Christina Tuohey at (413) 567-3949, ext. 3105 or ctuohey@JGSLifecare.org.

ZOOM: RSVP and a confirmation and Zoom invite will be emailed to you prior to the meeting.
