WESTERN MASS. – Super Sunday, the Jewish Federation’s biggest fundraising event of the year, took place on Jan. 22. A follow-up session took place on Jan. 29. Over the course of those two days, $74,972 was raised. Dr. Michelle Anfang and Margie Berg co-chaired the event, and Viola, Chrabascz, Reynolds & Co. and J.H. Cohn, LLP were the gold sponsors. Super Sunday raises funds for the 2012 Federation Annual Campaign, which supports a network of local, national, and international agencies that provide a wide variety of educational and social services for Jews in need. Volunteers made calls from both the Upper Valley and Lower Valley locations—in the auditorium of the Springfield JCC and at Lander~Grinspoon Academy in Northampton.
