Purim at Heritage Academy

Purim at Heritage Academy

The Purim celebration at Heritage Academy was a full day of fun and festivities. The students and faculty came to school in costumes of all sorts.  Students also brought various kosher snacks for Mishloach Manot baskets filled with food and drink to share with others. Students brought like macaroni or rice pilaf to be used as a ra’ashan (noisemakers) during the celebration.  After the celebration, the food was donated to Rachel’s Table, the food rescue program of the Jewish Federation of Massachusetts. Seen here are Heritage students in their Purim costumes. Photo by Kristy Riley
