Mark I. Bailey, 83, of Longmeadow died Aug. 2 at a local nursing home. He was the husband of Jacquelyn D. Bailey. Born in New Haven, Conn., he was a graduate of Milford Prep School and attended New Haven College until he entered into service in the Navy during the Korean War. After the war he moved to New York City and worked in the menswear industry. After moving to Longmeadow, he served as a manager at Yale Genton, before becoming the menswear buyer for Steiger’s. In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by three sons, Steven (Sarah) Bailey of Downingtown, PA., Stuart Bailey of Springfield, and Robert (Tracy) Bailey of Feeding Hills; five grandchildren, Joshua, Ian, JR, Kristyn and Rachael; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Liz Linderman of California; Robert Linderman of California; Lee Linderman and Patrick Brown of New York City, and Rita Bailey of New Haven, Conn.
