Torah Fund Luncheon at Temple Beth El

SPRINGFIELD – Temple Beth El Sisterhood is sponsoring a Torah Fund Luncheon on Wednesday, May 14 at noon in the synagogue’s Social Hall.
The guest speaker will be Alyse Lichtenstein, who will discuss “Redeeming Relationships.” Lichtenstein is a recent graduate of Boston University’s School of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences. During the summer of 2012, she traveled with other second and third generation survivors to Berlin to participate in a program entitled “One by One,” which brings together, in dialogue, the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors with the families of perpetrators. Alyse’s grandmother has been the inspiration for her investigation and research. There will be a slide presentation accompanying the talk.
