B’Shalom Chorale to hold First Rehearsal

GREAT BARRINGTON – B’Shalom Chorale of the Berkshires will hold its first rehearsal on Wednesday, May 28, 7-9 p.m. at Hevreh of Southern Berkshires, Route 23, Great Barrington.
The chorale’s first concert will be held Aug. 10.
B’Shalom Chorale of the Berkshires aims to preserve the vast treasures of Jewish music through public performances to foster understanding and respect for the music and values within Jewish and interfaith communities.
The Chorale is open to men and women of all faiths. Participants must have a pleasant singing voice, the ability to stay on pitch and love to sing 4-part music. Choral experience is preferred, but not necessary. The ability to read music is helpful, though not mandatory.
Dues are $50. In order for us to purchase music and plan appropriately for the first rehearsal, mail a check ASAP, made payable to B’Shalom Chorale to Marc Cohen, 46 Robin Road, Longmeadow, MA 01106. Include your name, voice part, email address, town in which you live, and phone number.
