Scott David Dalitzky, 53, of Dalton, formerly of Longmeadow, died Sept. 1 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a short illness. He attended Longmeadow Schools and was a graduate of Northfield Mt. Hermon School. He received a BA in Economics from University of Vermont and an MBA in Marketing from Goizueta Business School, Emory University, Atlanta, Ga. He worked as a Business Manager for the Gillette Co., Boston, Product Manager for Lever Brothers-Unilever, New York, and Sara Lee Corporation, Winston Salem, N.C. He also served as a marketing consultant for various companies including Polaroid, Power Object and Mt Vernon Strategies. He is survived by a son, Eric Michael Dalitzky, of Newton Center; his parents, Dr. Milton and Martha (Okun) Dalitzky, of Dalton and Wellington, Fla.; his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Greg Master of Arnold, Md.; his former wife, Carol (Abramowitz) Dalitzky of Newton Center; and uncles and cousins.
