‘Try a Synagogue’ Community Shabbat Dinner on Oct. 24

SPRINGFIELD – The Try A Synagogue program will sponsor a Community Shabbat Dinner on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Congregation B’nai Torah, 2 Eunice Drive, in Longmeadow. Prior to the dinner, Orthodox services will be held at 6 p.m. at B’nai Torah, and a joint service with clergy from Sinai Temple (Reform) and Temple Beth El (Conservative) will be held at 6 p.m. at Heritage Academy. There will also be a PJ Library program for families with young children at 6 p.m. at Congregation B’nai Torah, which will include crafts and songs.
The community is welcome to attend services, the PJ Library program, and/or dinner. You do not need to be a member of a synagogue to attend.
R.S.V.P. by Monday, Oct. 20. Your payment is your reservation. The organizers will try to honor seating requests; however, only complete tables of 8 can be reserved. Dinner is $20 per adult and $10 for children ages 3-10. Space is limited and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
Try A Synagogue is a program of Congregation B’nai Torah, Sinai Temple, Temple Beth El, the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, and a grant from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
