Agnes Shapiro, 93, of Longmeadow, died Oct. 19. Born in Nashua, NH, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sonya Zoosman. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray B. Shapiro. During World War II she worked on the assembly line in the Springfield Armory. She was the last of the original Ruth House Residents and was currently living at the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. She is survived by four children, Lynn Dash and her husband, Bernard, of Park Ridge, NJ, Mark Shapiro and his wife, Doris Naiman, of Ludlow, Elise Sacharczyk and her husband, Paul, of East Longmeadow, and Holly Whittle and her husband, Robert, of Enfield, Conn.; grandchildren, Michael, Jay, Karen, Brian, Carol, Luke, Tamara and Samantha; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Wyatt; a sister, Shirley Hersh of Springfield; a brother, Robert Zoosman of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sisters, Eunice Labarsky and Esther Greenberg; her brothers, Harry Zoosman and Izzy Zoosman; and a daughter-in-law Maureen Shapiro. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.  ASCHER-ZIMMERMAN FUNERAL HOME
