NORTHAMPTON – To mark its 18th anniversary, or “Chai Year,” Lander Grinspoon Academy will offer A Night Around the Table on Sunday, March 8 in eight homes around the Pioneer Valley.
One of the school’s signature fundraising celebrations, A Night Around the Table features simultaneous, parlor-style conversations and dinners with luminaries in the fields of literature and the arts, politics, scholarship and social justice activism. This intimate, diverse setting allows guests to learn and get to know speakers over wine, appetizers, dinner and dessert.
Individual dinners begin at 6 p.m. and the ticket price is $100 per person. Proceeds from A Night Around the Table benefit Lander-Grinspoon Academy’s Annual Fund. Guest speakers include:
Emily Barton, award-winning author of Brookland, KJ Dell’Antonia, New York Times blogger on the personal and political aspects of family life,
Judith Frank, award-winning author of All I Love and Know,
Randy Frost, psychologist and author of Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things,
