SPRINGFIELD — The Sandi Kupperman Learning Center (SKLC) at Temple Beth El will hold its biannual fundraiser on Saturday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Temple Beth El, 979 Dickinson St. This year’s honoree is Caryn Resnick, who has served as director of education at the SKLC for more than 20 years.
During her years at SKLC Resnick has designed award-winning thematic curricula which dove-tailed with synagogue events.
“Caryn’s enthusiasm and energy are palpable to anyone who talks with her,” said Stuart Chipkin, chairperson of the SKLC Board of Education. “She fosters an environment in which children, teens, adults and families learn about Torah, prayer, holidays, history, Jewish values and ethics, Hebrew, and Israel. She has helped to make Temple Beth El a place for life-long learning, and has been a major force in creating the next generation of knowledgeable and inquisitive Jewish adults.”
The evening will begin with cocktails and a delicious dinner, followed by musical entertainment from New England Dueling Pianos and dancing. The cost to attend is $75 per person. Visit www.tbespringfield.org to R.S.V.P. no later than March 18. There is also an opportunity to support the SKLC by placing an ad or message in an electronic book to be shown throughout the evening.
All proceeds will benefit the programs at the Sandi Kupperman Learning Center, which provides educational programming for children and adults of all ages. For more information, contact Marie in the SKLC office at (413) 737-0170 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
