LONGMEADOW – On March 18-19 at 7:30 p.m., Rabbi Bruce Bromberg Seltzer will be the guest speaker at services at Congregation B’nai Torah, 2 Eunice Drive. He will speak on “Confronting BDS on Campus.” Efforts to boycott, divest, sanction, and demonize the State of Israel pose a uniquely painful challenge for many Jewish students. What’s happening on campus? What can be done about it?
Rabbi Bromber Seltzer has served the Jewish students of Smith, Duke, Drew, Hofstra, and Amherst College.
The evening will also include a special community dinner.

On Shabbat, April 1-2, Eleonora Shifrin will be B’nai Torah’s guest speaker. Born in Siberia to a Jewish Soviet officer, a courageous ‘Refusnik’ and advocate for Soviet Jewry and a close Friend of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, Eleonora Shifrin comes to CBT with quite a story. Hear from Eleonora over Shabbat dinner on April 1, at 7:45 p.m. in the CBT Library. Seating is limited to the first 25 respondents. Suggested contribution $10/adult.
