Buddy Resnic receives Lifetime Award from Holyoke Medical Center

SPRINGFIELD – Attorney Burton “Buddy” Resnic of Holyoke has received the Lifetime Award from Holyoke Medical Center in recognition of his 35 years of service on its board of directors.

Resnic received the award at the The ACE Awards banquet, held at the MassMutual Center in October, and attended by more than 300 guests.

Resnic, a partner in Resnic, Beauregard, Waite and Driscoll in Holyoke, is one of the longest serving board members at Holyoke Medical Center and was successful in raising $3 million for facility improvements for the hospital in 1986. He has served on numerous boards including Congregation Sons of Zion and the Holyoke Public Library. He has also served as president of the Pioneer Valley Council Boy Scouts, Chairman of the Holyoke Redevelopment Authority, and he is an elected member of the Charter Commission.
