LONGMEADOW – Administration, family and friends of Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy celebrated the graduating class of 2018 on June 12.

Each graduate spoke about the seven emotional traits and shared how these traits made them strong students.

“The traits, kindness, strength, harmony, perseverance, humility, foundation, and loyalty teach us how to be leaders, how to get along with others, and how to achieve our goals. As we move into high school and beyond, these emotional traits are essential in order to be happy and successful,” said graduate Rivka Resnick.

In what is a tradition at LYA, this year’s class presented an original hand-painted gift to Rabbi Noach Kosofsky, LYA head of school.

The graduates will be matriculating into various high schools including Beth Rivka Schools, Hebrew High School of New England and Yeshiva High School of New Haven and Monsey.
