Arthur D. Lutz, 95, a lifelong resident of Springfield and Longmeadow, died April 4. He was the widower of Phyllis Barr Lutz. Born in Springfield, he graduated from Classical High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, serving in the Pacific Ocean Theater during World War II. After being honorably discharged he attended AIC where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He was a leader and sales manager for Mansfield Paper Company in Springfield, holding various executive positions for 70 years. He was a member of Temple Beth El in Springfield for most of his life. He is survived by a sister Ruth Kimmell; two daughters, Cindy Lutz Kornet and her husband, Louis, and Susan Fagin; three grandchildren, Todd Adelson, Nathaniel Kornet and Brett Fagin and his wife, Kathryn; and four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Emma Adelson, and Leo and Sam Fagin.
