Dr. Seymour M. Solomon, 81, of Worcester, died April 5. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Barney and Beatrice (Fischer) Solomon. He graduated from Classical High School and attended Franklin and Marshall University in Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree at Tufts University in Boston, with completion of his residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He was board-certified in dermatology and internal medicine. He spent more than 50 years practicing medicine throughout the state of Massachusetts aside from owning a private practice in San Francisco for a short time. He is survived by a sister in law, Janet (Schultz) Solomon; a niece, Beth I. Solomon of Brookeville, Md.; and a nephew, Edward J. Solomon of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He was predeceased by a brother, Herbert E. Solomon.
